The plan is to buy a B5 S4 (A skinny version of the A6) and a pickup.

I only spent a grand total of $150 worth of maintenance while I owned that car.

Dark green cars. Why can’t we have more dark green cars nowadays... Nobody seems to be offering them.

I got a lot of compliments on that car, a lot of which were because of the color.

I agree. We need more green cars.

It didn’t implode.

It needed a bunch of wear items, some of which the PO didn’t take care of for some reason. The PO was a very well known area doctor.

Thermostat, some AC part which I forgot what it is, 02 Sensors, a wheel bearing and the clutch. I could do all that crap myself for around $3,000 or less. But I didn’t have the time, or space. I got quotes and it was too much for the time.

Finished that sentence for you.

I forgive it for the money I didn’t spend on maintenance because of wear items.

And it wasn’t unreliable. It’s just things that need to be replaced on all cars went poopoo at once.

Yup, really rare cars.

Mine was one of the 40 cars made in racing green pearl/melange with the 6-speed.

I said cars, not axe murderers... :P

Besides that’s a shade towards gray from a distance rather than a saturated green. I’m talking like Bullitt Green or British Racing Green.

No I hear you, forest greens used to be a pretty common option in the late 90's and early 2000's, but they are basically gone. I will use any excuse to post a guard green Mustang though. I can’t really think of much outside of the luxury brands that offer tons of colors that comes in dark green in the US anymore. There was a green Silverado recently, but I think it went away with the recent refresh.

Honestly if you had money to do everything at once, that’d be ideal. Otherwise you’d have to deal with shit breaking every 3-6 months like on my car .... like yesterday. I’m still driving the shop loaner Oldsmobile Intrigue today.

Not even the lux brands. Last I checked BMW doesn’t offer any actual colour other than blue or red, and that M4 yellow. If you want green you have to go to Alpina:
